Course Structure & Curriculum (40 Hours Total)
To become a licensed security guard in Ontario, you must complete a mandatory 40-hour training program. Our course is structured as follows:

The 3-Step Path to Your Ontario Security Guard License
Step 1: Complete the Mandatory Training Enroll in our 40-hour program. You must successfully complete both the 32-hour online security course and the 8-hour in-person First Aid & CPR session. Upon completion, we will issue you a Training Completion Number (TCN), which is required to book your exam.
Step 2: Pass the Provincial Licensing Exam The exam is administered by the Ministry at various DriveTest Centre locations across Ontario and can be taken online.

- Duration: 75 minutes.
- Passing Score: 62% or higher.

Step 3: Apply for Your Security Guard License Once you have successfully passed the exam, you can apply for your official license through ServiceOntario.
